Project Life | 14 - 18

Finally playing catchup on project life! I couldn't really remember the sequence the events happened so a few pages are a bit random. Read on to see the rest of my summer project life pages.

had such a blast with new friends at craft lake city in slc + going to the zoo!

my favorite treat this summer was frozen yogurt from yogurt land, the best!

had so much fun getting to go home for labor day weekend, who doesn't love a weekend getaway!

also thought it'd be fun to start printing instagram updates to include in my album!

a favorite thing this summer was taking little drives and going site seeing, one of our favorite places was huntington reservoir, also love going to strawberry!

my favorite past time this summer was experimenting with watercolor. also started a new 52 week project called watercolor weekly.

when we went home my mom gave my all my dad's old records, I've been having so much fun listening to them, my favorite is fleetwoodmac rumors.

favorite book this summer is paper to petal so cool! love the typography on some of these old records too! this page is so random!

finally all caught up on summer, and this girl can't wait for fall!

  1. such gorgeous photographs -- each their own type of art. are these your scrapbooks or more like mood boards? what do you use to make them?

    1. This is my scrapbook, but I suppose it could double as a mood board type thing too. I use project life cards and a variety of scrapbook papers. I'm glad you like it, thanks!

  3. I wish I knew where to start with something like this. I don't think I can let my perfectionism go, because I know mine wouldnt look as fabulous as this so it would frustrate me. You are truely talented dear.

  5. Ahhh so jealous of your project life!!! Your layouts are gorgeous! Next year my goal is to capture more of the story in the photos vs having to journal along with it. How did you put the type on the photos? Did you use an app or computer program? I love the simplicity of it

    1. Thanks! For the tape I just use washi tape and fold it over the photos. I am absolutely obsessed with washi tape :)

  6. Lol! I love the tape too! But the type, like the fonts lol I saw you were taking a lettering class which now I'm looking into because it looks so amazing, but you have these fab script fonts or do you just have the best handwriting ever

    1. The lettering class is so fun! I wish I had more time to spend on it! A lot of the scripted words going on here on the blog I either used a brush and watercolor, or just a pen. Lettering is fun because you get something different every time, I love the imperfectness of it, and it's just fun to do :)
