Just Life | New Hair, maybe

I'm a natural brunette, and have covered my brown locks with blonde highlights for as long as I can remember. This past year I'm so happy that the ombre look was in style, because I let the highlights grow out. I've become pretty lazy when it comes to hair care, I tend to get two hair cuts a year, it grows out into this messy tangled knot. So when I do finally get around to the salon I have to get 2-3 inches cut off because it's all split! Anyways I've scheduled my 2nd hair cut this year and I'm ready to try something different, something I've never done before...I want to add some red or auburn in the mix. I have years of blonde almost grown out and the upper half of my hair is my natural color....boring. I'm not sure if I want to add it in slowly or jump into it all at once, either way I'm just excited to try something new. Thoughts? Bad idea....? See, I'm already doubting myself, and I will be right back to the blonde routine!

  1. Oh gosh, I am the same way. One cut a year. I loved the ombré look. Really wish I could pull that off! Can't wait to see what you do! :)

  2. I do the same thing, I just don't have the time/budget for more frequent cuts/colors! I am not a fan of the ombre look, but I am currently sporting it very unintentionally!
