Just Life | Gone Fishing

Just wanted to share some of the photos I took this weekend while fishing at Huntington Reservoir in Utah. It's at about 9,000 ft and the views were just beautiful. However, it rained, sleeted, hailed, and snowed. So I spent a lot of time in the truck sketching while Jordan fished.

Took these on the way up the mountain, it looked pretty stormy; bring on the rain. We are fishing rain or shine!

On the way up it started to sleet and hail, a lot.

I love the way these trees look!

I fished for a good 5 minutes before retreating to the truck to escape the cold.
Jordan toughed it out and fished for a good 4 hours. I took the opportunity to nap, and sketch a little.

When the sun finally came out it made for some pretty photos!

A beautiful view on our way home.

I used a mix of my iphone, some apps, and my Canon Rebel t2i for all shots.

iphone apps included: snapseed and instagram.

I heard about snapseed at Snap Conference at the instagram has changed everything about taking photos with my iphone! Get it, it's awesome.

  1. Gorgeous photos! I love snapseed too, I use it on practically every photo. I also really love A Beautiful Mess, that app really seems like your style, have you heard of it?
