Make This | Happy Heart Cupcake Toppers | Using Airheads

Valentine's day is around the corner! January went by so quick! Today I want to share a really simple tutorial on how to create an edible heart topper for your cupcakes. You can buy cupcakes, make them from scratch, or do what I did and use Betty Crocker Vanilla Cake Mix. I also bought my frosting and sprinkles...sorry if that's a disappointment, haha.  Read on to see what I did.

You need:

How to:
(Wash hands!)
1. Unwrap the Airhead, place on plate and microwave for 5-10 seconds.
2. Tear about 1/4 of the Airhead off and roll into a small ball.
3. Mold ball into heart, the put the heart on a toothpick.
4. Place in cupcake, enjoy!

See how easy that was! One airhead will make 4-5 hearts depending on how large you make the hearts. I chose to use the red, pink, and white. You can use whatever colors you like!

Please help send me to Alt Summit 2014 by going to this link and voting for my cupcake toppers! I will love you forever!

  1. LOVE this idea! I would totally be guilty of eating the airheads before I even made them into the toppers though, haha :)

    1. I totally ate most of the colors I wasn't going to use! So yummy and I hadn't had an airhead since I was like 12!
