Make this | Corn bag

Growing up we always had corn bags. What are they? It's exactly how it sounds, a bag, full of corn! You put these wonderful things in the microwave for about two and a half minutes, and you have instant warmth for your hands, feet or sore muscles. These make a great and inexpensive holiday gift, and they are so easy to make!

You will need:
• Feed corn (cleaned whole corn), you can find it at most feed/farm stores for about $15
• 100% Cotton fabric, (you can always use old shirts) my fabric is from walmart
• A sewing machine

How to:

• Cut fabric into the desired size you would like
• Sew 3 sides together, same as you would to make a pillow case
• fill with corn a little over half way
• Fold in the open rough edge and sew shut
• Heat in microwave and enjoy the warmth

  1. Just love these, such a great idea and I like your fabric choices!

  2. I found some cute fabric I liked for sale recently and bought it, although I wasn't quite sure what I'd use it for... but I could make a couple of really nice corn bags with it!

    1. I'm glad I could help! These things are seriously amazing, I use them every night!
